Arcos Technologies develops and sells Micro broadcasting systems based on System on Chip (SOC) for video processing which enable high performance digital multimedia transmission. Addressing the growing demand for multiple private video streams in residential buildings (MDUs) and last mile cable node applications, Arcos solutions enable broadband network operators to maintain their competitive edge and enlarge customer base.

Since sales started in 2008 Arcos has delivered thousands of units installed in large operators in North America including Comcast, Time Warner, Cox etc. Sales for 2009 were above $2m.
Sales are based on a strategic cooperation as part of an agreement signed with a vendor in the cable operator's industry to embed Arcos' core technology in its digital cable products. The relationship reflects a potential forecast of multi-millions USD revenues for Arcos in the next years.

Arcos new micro Head End product - A highly cost efficient multi channel encoder to Digital cable signal used for insertion of hyper local channels in closed community markets. It allows operators to meet basic contractual obligations while supporting their digital rollout by converting existing analog local insertion channels to digital.

The Multimedia systems and Local digital video networks are expected to grow significantly in the next decade due to the recent trends of shifting from analog to digital, converging of broadband over cable and providing on demand personalized content (VOD). These trends represent multiple market opportunities for Arcos, as its solutions are required in various applications constructing a combined total available market of over $800 million.

Arcos was founded with Xenia in 2004, matured incubator in 2006 and raised a follow-on financing round led by Rotal, a C.Mer subsidiary, with which a business development and marketing agreement was secured.
